Nice little restaurant with good food. It has been rated best restaurant on the Nextdoor app for the last 2 years.

This place is a total gem! It's by far my favorite Chinese in the Springfield Missouri area. The owner is fabulous

Very good food, got a lot of food for the price. The cook made too many egg rolls and ragoons and gave them to us for free! Only downside was the excess sauce on bowls that they have. Otherwise awesome food and friendly service.

The Yum Yum Bowl is a great inexpensive place to get Chinese food and the service is quick and efficient. It is also very clean! It's in a very convenient location on Battlefield, just east of Jefferson.

Food was very good and very fresh. And most certainly "Yum Yum". Service was great. And the food came out very quickly.

A distinctive part of their menu comes from the fact that they serve many of their dishes in a bowl, hence their name, Yum Yum Bowl. They also have a few flavors that are uncommon but good, like garlic lemon. The soup was decent but did not stand out from other Chinese places. The price was on the higher side for Chinese but still fairly reasonable.

I always love yum yum bowl. Crab puffs are supremely good, service is always phenomenal. Ive eaten here for years, and wouldnt change a thing. Try the teriyaki chicken bowl!

Got there right st close, it was fabulous.. Everything was fresh and hot. Service was pleasant. Deffinately going back!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I've had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice & the cashew chicken with steamed rice. Both with egg drop soup. It was all great! Would recommend to anyone.

Oh my God I'm amazed I haven't been coming here more the egg roll was so full of meat and the chicken was as tender as I've ever had and after my 10 minute drive home it was still crispy very good👍

The egg roll, crab puff and egg drop soup were great! They advertise all dishes being white meat only, a draw I don't personally understand since it's so easily dry. I ordered the bourbon chicken and couldn't eat it. I found the chicken to be a bit dry but more importantly, the sauce had a vaguely fishy flavor. I got it through the drive through and had I been eating in, I would have addressed it. The staff were very helpful and nice and I'm sure they would have remedied it. As it was, it was too far away and I was too tired to go back.

They have great cashew chicken,all there meat is really tender and there cream puffs are good too.

Was told the people who own this own Ocean Zen and 5 Spice. This is the worst of the three restaurants. The menu on Google is totally different, they tell customers the owners can't change it even though it's their account. Really? Successful business owners can't update their own account? Bologna. We drive all the way over there and everything is different, including prices-. Can't even get a bowl of ramen . Staff bored, and nobody seems to try hard at anything and the menu is the same as every other "Chinese" place in town.There's no reason to eat here instead of anywhere else unless your car breaks down in the parking lot. Their other restaurants are much better..No thanks.

They are supposed to be known for sweat abd sour chicken but its taste below average at best. I ordered the meal and didn't get an eggroll, my crab puff, or my receipt. Dont think I'll be back.

Best chinese in springfield, the chicken is lightly breaded and crispy, tender buts bits perfectly sized. I highly recommend the crab puffs because there are excellent. Light crisp with smooth delicious filling. I wish they would add a sweet and spicy option on the menu.

The meals here are perfect for lunch. The food is great and don't be afraid to order soup to go. They have the best plastic containers guaranteed to stay closed till you get home.The staff is always nice, I love eating here.

Every time I come here it's an awesome and chill experience. It's never chaotic and the atmosphere is always very friendly and comfortable. This is my go-to spot for when I need to grab something to eat in a hurry. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you almost instantly. All of the food is delicious and high quality and very fairly priced. I frickin love this place!

The tofu vegetable stir fry is so garlicky and oily that it makes my stomach hurt again thinking about it. Plus, I’ve heard they use chicken stock in everything and that sucks being vegan and all. I won’t be returning here until I know for sure there isn’t chicken stock used in what seems to be vegetarian entrees and for them to be at least less garlicky if not oily.

BEST food & service! Crab puffs are addicting and the chicken is fresh not old chewy stuff like most places in town. Very clean too.

Probably the cheapest lunch i have ever had to pay for!!! I got the small General chicken with water and paid for my co worker's small sweet and spicy chicken with water. My total was $8.63 after tax! My co worker enjoyed her dish so much she went back and took her wife later that week! Yum Yum Bowl's general chicken is sweeter than I typically care for. It was hot and fresh, but the flavor wasn't as bold as I am used to.
